Ms. White-Bondhus has been operating a piano studio in Laurel and Columbia since 1975. She is a former home schooling Mom with Cedar Brook Academy, with two children now in college. Her 30 + students participate in three studio recitals a year, plus are eligible to participate in numerous state and local events. Many students also prepare music for church and school programs. Ms. White-Bondhus is a Graduate of the  University of Maryland  with a Bachelor's degreee in Education and Piano Performance and a Master's in Education.  She received the University of Maryland Certificate of Teaching Excellence in 1992.  She has served on the Maryland State Music Teacher's Board of Director's since  1995 and was the Maryland State Music Teacher's State Theory Chair 2000 – 2008 and the Maryland State Music Teacher's Vice President for Publications 2007 - 2008.  In 2007 she was awarded the Jordan Kitt Grant for private teacher's. She has served as Greater Columbia Music Teacher's Assoc. President 1998 - 2000 adn Vice President 2018-. The Greater Laurel Music Teacher's Assoc. President 2001 – 2005,  2008- to 2010. 
Ms. White-Bondhus currently serves as the Gail F. McDonald MSMTA High School Examination Chair, MSMTA Conference Chair She also is the music accompanist Cherub choir for Glenmar UMC and Resurretiion/St Paul Catholic Church School, along with numerous local programs for GLMTA and GCMTA.
